Mighty Dog is making it’s 2.0 debut! Recently we’ve had a lot of requests asking us to go back to some older designs and either update them or add them back to the store. We love our fans and felt like this was something we wanted to push for the fall-2013 year. We’ve made some pretty major updates for this version of Mighty Dog. Crystal suggested we remove the overall design of the “bone” from the previous version because it was TOO niche, I couldn’t have agreed more. We love the unique qualities this design brings to the table so we wanted to keep some of the bone elements in the design, but also offer clients a bit more of the norm.

So we added some bold rounded corners around the posts instead of the bones like before, and simply kept the bone header area by itself. This was by far the biggest change, but we also decided to give the design a proper “logo”.  The logos in our designs weren’t meant to actually replace your own logo or start your brand with. They’re a starter point for you to create your own branding and style from and to drive inspiration to find your place in the world. It also gives our designs a nice overall look so you can imagine what it would look like with your  own logo. Imagine if we did include the print quality logos, everyone would be using them and nobody would be different! We really encourage everyone to be different and use the photoshop files provided with our designs. With a few color changes and a little ProPhoto know-how you could really have something completely different using the same design other people have.

Some other small changes include adding features from later updated versions of prophoto since the first release. That includes some more call to action links below the posts, a grid design for the archives and category pages, increased the overall size of the page design, and updated ALL of the photoshop files for better compatibility and overall use.

You can view the demo and purchase the design right here.

We’ll be updating some of our older retired designs and adding them back into the mix as we work them into our release schedule for new designs. We also might update some of the ones in the store already as well.
