Pro Photo: Urban

We’re continuing our new trend of doing some antique black/white designs for early 2013 with our newest design, URBAN.

Urban, is a minimal, antique design perfect for any growing business. This design includes a lot of design elements (as seen in our graphic below). So you’ll need a basic knowledge of photoshop, including how to handle layers, colors and type. Our new Prophoto instructional guide included with the design will help with the design to make it as easy as possible. We also have our dedicated tutorial section you can see here.

Urban looks great with or without a sidebar, header slide show, home page, or footer. All of these options are available to turn on or off as you please. To see some screenshots with those features take a look below. To navigate, simply click any thumbnail and click the image after it pops up to go back or forward.

Pro Photo is required to use the Urban template design. If you are new to ProPhoto we offer a $10.00 off discount. Simply type in LALUNE in the discount link here. Discount does not apply to our designs in the store.

You can view the demo and purchase Urban here.

Pro Photo: Express

I have been itching to do another minimal design for a while now, and couple that with a grid layout and you have EXPRESS. Our latest design was built around the minimal series we created last year. Simple clean interface, black and white, and of course minimal look and feel. We’ve done things a bit differently this time and added a couple of screens below with a mockup of what a home page and sidebar  could look like with the design. The instructional file included with the design will tell you how to add these features to your design.

Pro Photo 4: Skyfall

I’ve never been a huge bond movie fan. I was always one to love the Sean Connery bonds myself, but that was before I saw Skyfall, which led me to purchase the other Daniel Craig bond movies. Skyfall was definitely my favorite, but there was one thing that stood out to me. The Skyfall statue was a huge significance to the film which had gotten stuck in my mind. Originally I was going to work on a poster design featuring the statue which I turned into a logo. That’s where the inspiration for Skyfall came into play. I wanted the design to be classy much like you would expect bond would be. So I used black and golds and minimalistic features to get that aesthetic across.

Images courtesy of and provided by Red Leaf Boutique.

Skyfall includes all the photoshop files necessary to make it your own, but this design is actually the first one I’ve included header slideshow templates that are different than the rest. I changed out the layouts and got rid of the spacing between images, and added a welcome message to give the design some individuality. Photoshop files are compatible with older versions of Photoshop CS and Elements.

For those of you first time buyers of Prophoto itself (the design is required to use ProPhoto)  you can get $10.00 off by typing in LALUNE in the discount link box on the buy page here. (Discount is not for the design itself, only new purchases of prophoto)

You can check out the demo and purchase the design here.

Until next time! Matt -
